<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor improved in quality by preventing a crack and breakage in the surface of a valve element when unifying a spring and the valve element and capable of preventing displacement and a fall of the spring from the valve element after fitting them together. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A check valve 17 for preventing a reverse flow from a suction tube 10a includes: a cap-like valve element 17a; and a spring 18a, to which an inner cap 17g formed by pressing a metal plate is fitted on and welded in one end thereof and pressed into the cap-like valve element 17a for integration and which always biases the valve element 17a in the closing direction.
