RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND RADIO TERMINAL

摘要

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make communication by dynamically selecting radio media to avoid communications in lower transmission rate for integration of a plurality of radio media. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio communication system includes a radio base station having a plurality of radio media and a radio terminal having a plurality of radio media. In this radio communication system, the radio terminal further includes a selecting device for selecting radio media having the average transmission rate higher than the predetermined threshold value preset for each radio medium, a notifying device for notifying the radio media selected by the selecting device to the radio base station, and a first switching device for switching the radio media used for communication in the down-stream direction with the radio base station to the radio media selected by the selecting device. The radio base station further includes a second switching device for switching the radio media used for communication in the down-stream direction with the radio terminal to the radio media notified from the radio terminal.
