PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch control device capable of substituting a function of a failed switch by another switch when a specific switch fails. SOLUTION: The switch control device includes: an air-conditioner switch 16 which outputs an "On" signal S11 by a push operation and an "Off" signal 12 by non-operation; a microcomputer 18 which switches over and outputs an operation control signal S21 or a stop control signal S22 of an air conditioner 20 according to the On signal S11 and has a memory part 19 for storing the operation control signal S21 or the stop control signal S22; and an ignition switch 21 which makes the microcomputer 18 into an operation mode or an non-operation mode. A reverse operation means 22 is provided which reverses the stored content of the memory part 19 and outputs the operation control signal S21 or the stop control signal S22 if the On signal S11 is input by the failure of the air conditioner switch 16 when the microcomputer 18 moves into the operation mode.
