<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous roll call caused by a voltage change with switching, in a gate driving device for a switch element that does not include an inverse bias power source of a gate voltage but includes a buffer transistor for amplifying a gate current and includes a voltage-driven gate terminal for switching turn-on/turn-off gate resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The gate driving device includes: NPN and PNP transistors for amplifying a gate current; and a turn-on gate resistor and a turn-off gate resistor for protecting diodes between bases and emitters of the transistors, base resistors and switch elements of the transistors.
