<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information providing system for enabling a user to acquire a map in a convenience store after getting to a job site, and to store the image information of a picture photographed at the job site as an album by attaching it to the map on a server. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A map information providing system 10 is provided with: a map server 31; personal information equipment 40; and information terminal equipment 51 installed in a convenience store 50 for inputting a map identification number acquired from the personal information equipment 40, and for printing a map on the basis of map information corresponding to the map identification number. The map server 31 is provided with: a personal identification information registration means; a display information transmission means; an image information storage means; and an image synthesizing means for displaying image information overlapped at the prescribed position of the map information on the basis of coordinate information stored by the image information storage means.
