<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device capable of realizing a size reduction and a cost reduction by decreasing the number of bearings or eliminating the use of bearings. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lifting device 9 includes a lifting tray 7, and a driving part 10a for driving to move up and down the lifting tray 7. The driving part 10a includes an eccentric shaft 4, a driving means 11 for transmitting rotational driving force to the eccentric shaft 4, a first gear 22 to which eccentric rotational motion of the eccentric shaft 4 is transmitted, restricting means 3, 23 for restricting rotation of the first gear 22 and converting the eccentric rotational motion transmitted from the eccentric shaft 4 to the first gear 22 into eccentric swinging motion of the first gear 22, and a second gear 24 to which an output shaft 13 for transmitting driving force to the lifting tray 7 is connected and which is rotatively driven by transmission of the eccentric swinging motion of the first gear 22. A torsion coil spring 5 for applying auxiliary force to lifting motion of the lifting tray 7 when at least the lifting tray 7 is at the lower most position is mounted on an output shaft 13.
