<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of shaking and sorting load and prevent clogging of a combine harvester. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The combine harvester is provided with a reaping device 5 in front of a traveling device 2, and a threshing device 4 above the traveling device 2. The threshing device 4 is provided, under a concave 15 of a threshing chamber 11 rotatably supporting a threshing cylinder 10 at an upper part of the chamber, with a shaking sorter 21 comprising a reciprocating shaking and sorting shelf 20 and a winnower 16 to send air to the shaking sorter 21, a prescribed gap is formed between a starting end of the shaking and sorting shelf 20 and a front plate 40 of the threshing device 4, a dropping port 41 is constantly opened between the starting end of the shaking and sorting shelf 20 and the front plate 40 of the threshing device 4, and a guiding plate 42 for guiding grains to a clean grain conveyor 26 placed under the shaking and sorting shelf 20 is placed under the dropping port 41.
