The device has a pivoting mechanism (4) provided outside of a hollow plastic part i.e. airbag cover (1), for ejecting an inner rear-cut (6) in the hollow plastic part, where the plastic part is manufactured by injection molding process. The pivoting mechanism outwardly presses the hollow plastic part in an area of the inner rear-cut during ejection. A lever pivots outwardly in the area of the inner rear-cut and provided as the pivoting mechanism, where the lever is attached to an operating part (8).
