PURPOSE: A mail machine inspecting system and a method thereof are provided to improve operating ratio and maintenance effectiveness of the mail machine by adjusting the maintenance inspecting time and inspecting cycle of the mail machine. CONSTITUTION: A first information management unit manages the maintenance information of a mail machine inputted from the outside. A second information management unit manages the trouble information of the mail machine inputted from the outside. An information matching unit(300) matches the maintenance information with trouble information. A risk calculator unit(400) calculates inspecting items of the mail machine and the risk ratio based on the matched information. A classification and control unit(500) controls the inspecting cycle according to classified items.
