<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving body capable of optionally changing a moving speed according to the will of a walker, securing the safety of the walker, and assisting the walk of the walker. <P>SOLUTION: The moving body 1 has a body part 2, a motor 6, a driving wheel 3 rotating by the rotation of a rotary shaft 6a, a stick 8 whose one end 8a is rotatably supported by the body part 2, which has a gripping part 8c gripped by the walker in the other end 8b and freely oscillates forward and rearward around the one end 8a, and a driving wheel controller 20 controlling current supplied from a secondary battery 5 to the motor 6. The moving body 1 has an angle sensor 8e detecting the oscillating angle of the stick 8 and an axial force sensor 8f detecting the axial force acting on the stick 8.
