<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus for ball-housing in which a high frequency induction-hardening can sufficiently be performed. <P>SOLUTION: In the induction heating apparatus for hardening the ball-housing 10 for ball screw, which has a ball-groove 11 on the side-face 29 inside a cylinder and also has ball-holes 12 on the side-wall 18 of the cylinder, the ball-groove 11 is induction-heated with a heating-coil 28 extending in the axial direction inside the ball-housing 10. A cooling liquid 5 is jetted toward and supplied to the ball-housing 10 from an annular outside cooling jacket 2 arranged on the outside of the ball-housing 10. A reflectors 4 facing the ball-holes 12 is arranged at the outside of the ball-housing 10, so that the reflectors 4 prevents the cooling liquid 5 from infiltrating into the ball-housing 10 from the ball-hole 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
