PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature type expansion valve capable of suppressing a hunting phenomenon by securely delaying heat transfer to a power element and controlling the amount of a low-pressure refrigerant sent out to an evaporator by stable operation and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The expansion valve includes a refrigerant passage 101 from the evaporator to a compressor, and a temperature sensitive part having a temperature sensing function is arranged in the refrigerant passage. The heat of the temperature sensitive part is transferred to a chamber filled with a temperature working fluid in the power element, and a diaphragm of the power element adjusts an opening of the valve corresponding to the pressure of the temperature working fluid. The temperature sensitive part includes a hollow temperature sensitive member 11 and an internal member 21 arranged in the temperature sensitive member.
