<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car handrail device in an elevator miniaturizing a cage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: First and second sidewalls 6, 7 are provided on the side surfaces of the cage 1. A first handrail body 8 is attached to the first sidewall 6. A second handrail body 9 is attached to the second sidewall 7. Each of the first and second handrail bodies 8, 9 has a rod-like grip 10 and a plurality of attachment metal fittings 11 as branch sections. The grip 10 is arranged along the depth direction of the cage 1. The attachment metal fittings 11 are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the grip 10. Also, the attachment metal fittings 11 project outward from the grip 10. Further, the displacement of the attachment metal fittings 11 is regulated in the longitudinal direction of the grip 10.
