<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of conventional filter cloth wherein, a base fabric layer is provided for giving compressive strength and tensile strength, which causes concentration of fibers in the base fabric layer, causing clogging by solid particles coming in from the surface and collected a lot on the base fabric layer, and transcription of cloth mark of the base fabric by molding press of particulate material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The filter cloth for slurry separation is a laminated body composed of a fiber layers (A) and (B) consisting of thermoplastic resin fibers. Fineness of fiber diameters of the fiber layer (B) is larger than that of the fiber layer (A), having no base fabric layer. The fiber layer (B) is formed of two or more kinds of fibers with different diameters laminated or mixed and entangled, and is heat-treated at a high temperature, or is applied with a certain stress when heat-treated at a high temperature.
