PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weatherstrip capable of preventing deterioration in a designability by restraining deformation of a cover lip. SOLUTION: The weatherstrip 5 includes: a trim part 11 provided along a peripheral edge of a door opening; a hollow seal part 15 projecting to the outside of the vehicle from the trim part 11; and a cover lip 26 extending from a part at an inner peripheral side of the door opening of the seal part 15 to the inside of the vehicle. The seal part 15 and the cover lip 26 comprise sponge rubber, and a coating layer 27 comprising solid rubber is formed on these surfaces. A lip outer surface corresponding part 28 formed on a surface at an inner peripheral side of the door opening of the cover lip 26 in the coating layer 27 is constituted to be as thick as a seal corresponding part 30 in a border 60 with the seal corresponding part 30 formed in the seal part 15, and the part 62 at a tip end side of the cover lip 26 is thicker than the part 61 at a root side of the cover lip 26.
