PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven nailing machine having a prolonged life without reducing a drive force of a nail during a long term use. SOLUTION: The motor-driven nailing machine has a motor 3, a housing storing the motor 3 and having a cylinder 15, a coil spring 6 arranged in the cylinder 15, a plunger 9 moved by the coil spring 6, and a blade 14 for driving the nail. The coil spring 6 is compressed by using the rotating force of the motor 3 and the blade 14 is moved by releasing the compressed coil spring 6 so that the nail is driven. The upper end of the coil spring 6 is engaged with the cylinder 15 through an elastic member 72 and an upper washer 71, and the lower end of the coil spring 6 is engaged with the plunger 9 through a lower washer 74 and an elastic member 75.
