<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure detecting temperature while correcting effect of an error of a thermistor without being affected by an error of a detection circuit when the thermistor detecting temperature of a heating means and the detection circuit detecting a resistance value of the thermistor have errors. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In addition to a pull-up resistor R1 detecting a resistance value of the thermistor 204, a resistor R2 having a resistance value of the thermistor 204 at 25°C and a resistor R3 having a resistance value of the thermistor 204 at 200°C as a heating temperature are prepared. While SW1 and SW3 are turned on and SW0 and SW2 are turned off, error information of an operational amplifier 208 and that of an A/D converter 209 are obtained. While the SW0 and SW2 are turned on and the SW1 and SW3 are turned off, error information of the thermistor 204, that of the operational amplifier 208, and that of the A/D converter 209 are obtained. A correction value for correcting an error of the thermistor 204 is calculated from the two pieces of error information, and using the correction value, temperature control of a heating roller 201 is carried out.
