<p>Provided is a cam device for the transfer receiving needle wherein the rear butt passes through a level difference portion smoothly, and a reliable guidance is enabled by ensuring a hooking margin sufficiently on the cam surface after the passage. When the left row of a carriage is transferred, the rear butt (7) of a knitting needle (1) becoming a receiving needle moves as shown by a track (7H). For the transfer receiving cam (46) on the left side, the front end at the upper end of the rear butt (7) is hooked to a slope (46d), and the rear end of the rear butt (7) is guided by the cam surface (42b) at the front edge of an intermediate cam (42c). When the rear butt (7) advances, the slope (46d) is pressed while resisting against the urging force of a compression spring (47), and the idle end side of the transfer receiving cam (46) sinks to bring about a state where the upper end of the rear butt (7) abuts on the surface (46c) of the transfer receiving cam (46). Since the surface (46c) sinks, the level difference of the pathway of the rear butt (7) can be reduced or eliminated near the top of the intermediate cam (42c). Since the rear butt (7) abuts on the projecting cam surface (42b) after passing the vicinity of the top, a hooking margin can be ensured sufficiently.</p> |
