Provided are a switch mechanism having excellent durability and an electronic device provided with the switch mechanism.  The switch mechanism is provided with: a wiring board having at least one first electrode and at least one second electrode on one surface; at least one switch button which is provided on the other surface of the wiring board and receives a pressing operation from the outside; a supporting board which is provided on the said surface of the wiring board and has at least one protruding section at a position which corresponds to at least the switch button; at least one conductive body which is arranged between the wiring board and the supporting board and electrically connects the first electrode and the second electrode by pressing of the protruding section performed by the pressing operation of the switch button; and an auxiliary member which is provided between the switch button and the wiring board and suppresses deformation of the switch button when the switch button is pressed.
