PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic-type current sensor which enables constitution of a battery pack miniaturizable and free from power loss, is suited for current detection of a plurality of battery cells constituting the battery pack, and can perform simultaneous detection of a plurality of currents to be measured; and to provide a battery pack, or an electronic device, including an abnormality detecting controller which, when an abnormality occurs in any one of battery cells constituting the battery pack, can detect the abnormality correctly. SOLUTION: A battery block 10a includes: a plurality of battery cells 1a-1c connected in parallel to each other; magnetic detection sections 7a-7c provided respectively in the cells in order to detect the densities of magnetic fluxes generated around currents flowing in these battery cells 1a-1c; and a discharge circuit 3a and a switch 4a which are connected in parallel to these battery cells 1a-1c and magnetic detection sections 7a-7c. Similarly, a battery block 10b also includes a plurality of battery cells 2a-2c, magnetic detection sections 8a-8c, and a discharge circuit 3b and a switch 4b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
