PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable proper adaptive array control with reducing power consumption in a wireless terminal. SOLUTION: A wireless terminal 2A that communicates with an adaptive array system wireless base station 1 by time-division duplex and time-division multiplex has: a moving speed measuring part 252 that measures a moving speed of the wireless terminal 2A; an upload transmission rate determining part 258 that determines an upload transmission rate based on the moving speed measured by the moving speed measuring part 252; and an upload transmission rate transmitting part 260 that transmits the upload transmission rate determined by the upload transmission rate determining part 258 to the wireless base station.
