PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device which can be miniaturized even in the case of the increase in diameter of a lens to be mounted. SOLUTION: A lens driving device 1 includes a movable member 2 holding a lens for photographing and capable of moving in an optical axis direction of the lens and a fixing member 3 holding the movable member 2 through urging members 4 and 5 so as to allow the movable member 2 to move in the optical axis direction. The movable member 2 includes a driving magnet 8 for driving the movable member 2 in the optical axis direction and a movable yoke 9 having the driving magnet 8 fixed thereto, and the fixing member 3 includes a driving coil 11 disposed in opposition to the driving magnet 8 and a fixing yoke 13 disposed so as to cover the outer peripheral side of the movable yoke 9. An approximately fixed space is formed between an outside surface of the movable yoke 9 and an inside surface of the fixing yoke 13 in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis L.
