<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste composition for plasma display panels, which can be used for manufacturing plasma display panel barrier ribs with level differences by the sand blasting method, and controls deterioration of air exhaustion and panel performance even in case residues occurs, and also to provide a manufacturing method for plasma display panels. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The paste composition for plasma display panels contains at least any inorganic oxide out of SiO<SB>2</SB>, Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, ZnO and TiO<SB>2</SB>, as well as photosensitive acrylic resin and an organic solvent.
