<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box and a shock-absorbing material capable of safely executing the disassembling work with low labor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The box is formed of one sheet material which is surrounded by a profile contour line of a continuous wavy curve, and includes a cylindrical barrel part, a pair of closing surfaces for closing both ends of the barrel part, and a cylindrical shock-absorbing material which is connected to the closing surfaces and arranged on corner parts of the box. At least one locking opening part is formed in a circumferential surface of the shock-absorbing material. The box has a locking tongue piece engaged with the locking opening part.
