PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which excels in long-term charge stability, can prevent fogging and toner scattering, as a full-color toner, achieves a high image density and excels in transparency, satisfies cleaning property, and excels in transferability and graininess, a method for producing the same, and a developer, an image forming apparatus and an image forming method using the electrostatic charge image developing toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is produced from a system in which oil droplets containing at least a binder resin and a pigment are dispersed in an aqueous phase, and the toner contains a polycondensate obtained by the polycondensation reaction of phenols and aldehydes.
