PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling planter having a simple constitution and performing a proper attitude control of machine. SOLUTION: The seedling planter is equipped with a rolling actuator 17 that changes the relative height of right and left wheels 10 and controls the lateral inclination of the machine, right and left seedling planting tools 3 that vertically operate and plant seedlings in a field and right and left compacting tools 4 that compact each of right and left planting positions by the right and left seedling planting tools 3. The seedling planter has a constitution such that the right and left vertical support apparatuses S of the right and left compacting tools 4 are horizontally movably arranged so as to freely change the right and left interval of the right and left compacting tools 4, right and left sensor arms 47 each operating in cooperation with the operations of the right and left vertical support apparatuses S by the vertical movements of the right and left compacting tools 4 are installed at an interval, a body attitude control apparatus for detecting the gradient of the machine by the variation of the interval of the right and left sensor arms 47 and operating the rolling actuator 17 is installed and the right and left sensor arms 47 are arranged at the external side of the machine of the right and left vertical support apparatuses S.
