The battery has a set of individual cells, and a rigid cell connector board (1) arranged at a pin side of the individual cells. Flexible cell connectors (2) are provided and arranged at an upper side of the board such that the individual cells are electrically connected in series and/or parallel with each other. The cell connectors are made from electric copper or copper sheet metals. The connectors are fastened to the connector boards by a center fastener in a form and/or force-fit manner. A cooling plate is arranged between the individual cells and the board.
