The device (20) has an adjusting element (40) swivelable around a fixed swiveling axis at a frame of a printing machine. Another adjusting element (50) is tiltable around a fixed rotation axis at the former adjusting element, where the axes are displaced laterally to each other. A guidance roller and/or a transport roller are connected with the latter adjusting element. A rotation axis of the guidance and/or transport rollers is laterally distanced to the rotation axis of the former adjusting element. The adjusting elements are fixable at the frame via a retainer. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting position of a guidance and/or a transport roller for a printing substrate in a printing machine.
