The holder (10) has a retaining element (11) for fastening eyeglasses (15) and carrying bags, where the retaining element is helically wound. Helical windings (12, 13) lie in a common plane. A small gap is formed between the helical windings. The retaining element is producible from a flexibly ductile material. The retaining element is lockable in a countersunk condition and covered in the countersunk condition by a cover, where the retaining element is concealable.
