The marking device has an object carrier (2) and object benefit (3) held by the object carrier. The object benefit is marked by the marking device. The object carrier has identification mediums (4a,4b,4c), which contains a piece of information relating to the marking object (1). The identification medium is used to store the piece of information relating to the marking object. An independent claim is also included for a marking device for marking the marking object.
