The board (1) has an elastically deformable edge zone (8) that is separate from a base body via a joint (3), which is closed by elastic deformation of the edge zone during laying of the board. The edge zone is outwardly inclined with respect to the joint. An end (14) of the joint lies at a distance from an adjacent outer side (5), in a virtual pivot plane that runs parallel to the outer side. The edge zone has height of 60 mm and an outer side (9) provided at an obtuse angle to an outer side (10) of an edge region (11). An independent claim is also included for a method for laying a building board. |
