PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing method of a mouth of a plastic container in which even a mouth of different aspect ratio such as an elliptical shape and a rectangular shape can be sealed by uniformly heat-bonding a seal member, and an apparatus thereof. SOLUTION: A plastic material is coated on at least a seal surface of the metal seal member 3, the seal surface is pressed against the mouth 2 of different aspect ratio, and heat-bonded by arranging high frequency induction heating coils 11 and 12 on both ends of the longer side of the length a and the width b, whichever is the greater, of the mouth 2. Both ends of the shorter side b of the mouth 2 is prevented from being overheated and the total periphery can be heated at the uniform temperature to implement the complete sealing by arranging the high frequency induction heating coils 11 and 12 on both ends of the longer side a of the length a and the width b of the mouth 2 without surrounding a periphery of the mouth 2 of the different aspect ratio and heating the heating coils. |
