<p>The method involves obtaining a limited frequency signal, where the frequency of original signal is reduced by suppressing high frequencies. A temporal filter is generated by a generation module (104) to find a signal spectrally close to the original signal when the filter is applied to a signal obtained by enlargement of a spectrum of limited signal. The filter is obtained by a member-to-member division based on the coefficients of Fourier transformation applied to a portion of the original signal and to a portion corresponding to the signal obtained by enlargement of the spectrum. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for decoding a part of a signal (2) a device for coding a signal, comprising a frequency limited signal obtaining unit (3) a device for decoding a signal, comprising a signal receiving unit (4) a signal comprising a limited frequency audio signal representing a frequency limited version of original audio signal.</p> |
