<p>An identification wristband, comprising a digital clock 24 with a flexible display 30, an RFID tag 26 and optionally a flexible circuit board, a tamper resistant single use clip 16, and a battery located in the clip 16. Identification information may be displayed by the display 30. The device is suitable for use in e.g. hospitals, or at resorts, theme parks, etc. Predetermined data may be displayed only according to instructions received via the RFID tag 26. The time of the clock 24 may be synchronised using data received via the RFID tag 26. Cashless payment functionality may be provided. Different modes of information may be displayed in respective different discrete areas 34, 36, 38 of the display 30 or at different times in the same areas, e.g. controlled by data received via the RFID tag 26. Reminder alarm, countdown display and entry/exit security alarm functions may be provided.</p> |
