<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge receipt system intended to improve the accuracy of correction of time of day and a time correction method of the charge receipt system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Whether the difference of time of day of a timer of a host device between time of day of a timer of a terminal device is within the prescribed limits or not is determined and on the basis of the result, improvement in accuracy of correction of time of day is achieved by determining whether the time of day of the timer of the terminal device is corrected or not.
