PURPOSE: A composition for grouting by liquid injection type is provided to make a coarse-grained soil layer and a fine-grained soil layer congeal uniformly using an aqueous hardener and to secure high internal pressure and excellent water-barrier performance. CONSTITUTION: A composition for grouting by liquid injection type comprises alkali colloidal silica 5-20 parts by weight and curing coagent 1-10 parts by weight based on a basic sodium silicate compound which is composed of SiO_2 16-26.5 parts by weight, Na_2O 3-7 parts by weight, and water 66.5-81 parts by weight. A grouting method comprises the following steps: manufacturing a first grouting material by mixing the curing coagent 1-10 parts by weigh with the basic sodium silicate compound and adding the alkali colloidal silica 5-20 parts by weight; and injecting the first grouting material into weak ground.
