PURPOSE: A pressure control device for a coke furnace is provided to keep a furnace pressure uniform by adjusting a pipe valve, thereby maintaining uniform carbonizing condition. CONSTITUTION: A pressure control device for a coke furnace comprises a pressure sensor(10), a determining unit(20), and a controller(30). The pressure sensor is installed in a pipe of a coke furnace to measure the internal pressure of the coke furnace. The determining unit calculates the measured internal pressure and a set reference value. The determining unit determines whether or not the internal pressure is positive based on the calculated difference. The controller closes a valve while the internal pressure is in a negative pressure range and opens the valve in a positive pressure range. |
