PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying data information is provided to output data information such as OSD(On Screen Display) information of a video signal and subtitle information in a video device like a broadcasting playing device through an auxiliary output device. CONSTITUTION: A subtitle information extractor(531) extracts subtitle information of a video signal. A display position determination unit(535) determines displaying position of subtitles displaying data with a control signal. The control signal orders division displaying with a main screen about the subtitles information. Image output units(600,800) display the subtitles displaying data through a sub output unit separated from a main screen output unit based on the determined display position. |
