PURPOSE: A diesel fuel cracking catalyst and a NOx storage and reduction catalyst including the same are provided to improve purification efficiency of nitric oxide by performing reaction of a reducing agent at a low temperature, and to improve purification efficiency of the nitric oxide. CONSTITUTION: A diesel fuel cracking catalyst(42) includes a nitride oxidation layer(424) and an alcohol group grown layer(426). The nitride oxidation layer adsorbs a part of the oxidized nitrogen dioxide, and to oxidize nitrogen monoxide included in exhaust gas into nitrogen dioxide. The diesel fuel cracking catalyst decomposes a chain loop of a carbon element consisting of the fuel. |
