PURPOSE: A device for preventing neck injury of a headrest for a vehicle is provided to continuously maintain a projected status of a head rest due to a working piece which moves upwards by restoring force of an elastic spring while collision. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing neck injury of a headrest for a vehicle comprises: a housing which is fixed and installed in a seat back frame; a working piece(120) which is supported with an elastic spring(122); a binding piece(150) which locks the working piece while the elastic spring is compressed; and an unlocking unit which selectively releases the locking of the binding piece. The housing comprises a lower housing(110b) and an upper case(110a) which is installed in a lower case. |
