PURPOSE: A receiving unit for receiving a rod and a bone fixing device including the same are provided to safely clamp the head of a bone fixing element by forming a curved part in a locking ring. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit includes a receiving body(5), a rod receiver(9), a head receiver(16), and a locking ring(8). The rod receiver has a channel for receiving the rod. The head receiver receives the head of the bone fixing element and has an open end. A tapered part is formed on the outer side of the head receiver. A locking ring surrounds the head receiver. The curved part is formed on the inner side of the locking ring and is engaged with the tapered part of the head receiver.
