PURPOSE: A communications terminal having the secure communication of conveniently protecting the information is provided to perfectly protect user information without confirming the existence of an information protection function within a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(110) generates a function selection signal. An operation system of a communications terminal operates the function selection signal in a normal mode. A control unit(140) selectively manages the operating system of the communications terminal in the normal mode and information protect mode. The controller conceals the secure communications through the menu control. A display unit(150) discriminates the display of menu or the set element.
