A membrane-electrode assembly is provided to improve availability of fuel by reducing crossover phenomenon going the anode to the cathead, and to increase efficiency of the fuel cell. A membrane-electrode assembly(100) comprises support layers(110,110') formed with first catalyst patterns(120,120'); and an electrolyte membrane(140) which forms a catalyst layer and is laminated on the support layer so that the first catalyst pattern and catalyst layer be faced. The catalyst layer is second catalyst patterns(130,130') which are formed in order to go in gear with the first catalyst pattern. |
