PURPOSE: A camera optical system is provided to maintain high resolution in a process of close range photographing by moving only a part of a lens system not the whole lens system in a close range photographing. CONSTITUTION: A first lens system is opposed to the subject. The first lens system deviates from the optical axis in a distant photographing process. The first lens system is positioned on the optical axis in a close range photographing process. A second lens system(120) is located between the first lens system and an image sensor(140). A camera optical system satisfies the equation of 0.03<(R1/f1)<0.045.
