PURPOSE: A composition for forming a hard coat layer is provided to prevent the generation of curl caused by hardening shrinkage, to obtain strong hardness, and to secure the hard coat layer having excellent scratch resistance. CONSTITUTION: A composition for forming a hard coat layer comprises: a curable compound having an acrylate group and a methacrylate group; particles which are obtained by modifying the surface of inorganic oxide particles into an organic compound including a polymerizable unsaturated group; and reactive silicon including compound which is marked as a chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, R is a substituent having a siloxane structure and an active hydrogen group.
