Described is an injectable pharmaceutical composition, which is characterised in that it contains a growth enhancer and additive based on a non-steroidal anabolic along with a solvent pertaining to the polar aprotic group, and the mixtures thereof with other bioactives and/or inert agents; or a group of said solvents and the mixtures thereof, to be animal administered. Said composition provides the animal with benefits, performance and a maximum use of the eaten nutriments for acquiring the highest food conversion and efficacy. The present invention is, additionally, related to methods for improving and enhancing the animal growth, as well as to a method for preparing such pharmaceutical compositions. The purpose of the present invention is to stimulate, support and promote the weight gain and growth of the animal, upon administering an injectable pharmaceutical composition, since it contains a non-steroidal anabolic agent, the derivatives thereof and/or mixtures, along with a solvent pertaining to the polar aprotic group, the invention also referring to a group of said solvents and/or mixtures for animal administration.
