PURPOSE: A step and twist exercise apparatus is provided, which can strengthen the upper body and back muscles by inclining the upper body from side to side as a user stands up after stepping on repetitive right and left step. CONSTITUTION: A step and twist exercise apparatus includes: a frame(10); top and lower part step tilting bars(20,30) which are hinge-installed to be able to rotate while being arranged in the front bottom side of column of the frame; left and right step links(40,50) which are hinge-connected to the both end parts of the lower step tilting bar and upper step tilting bar; a handle bar(60) in which left and the right handle are included in both end part after being pivotally hinge-connected to be able to rotate right and left in the front side of the frame column; and a twist link(70) which is connected in the reciprocal reverse motion direction while the other end is hinge-coupled with the handle bar and one end is hinge-coupled with the top step tilting bar.
