PURPOSE: A composition for treating obesity containing DNER(delta/notch-like EGF-related receptor) or activated DNER is provided to promote adipose differentiation in knock-down in human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells(hAMSCs). CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating obesity contains a material which activates DNER(delta/notch-like EGF-related receptor). The material which activating DNER is peptide, protein, nucleic acid, liquid, or carbohydrate. The composition for treating obesity contains activated DNER. The composition is administered together or sequentially with a conventional therapeutic agent.
