PURPOSE: An electrical connector is provided to evade the poor contact between connectors by effectively removing the foreign substance due to contact between front side of a sliding contact unit and opponent terminal. CONSTITUTION: A contact protruded unit(52B) is guided to front end(21B-1) of a sliding contact unit(21B) of a contact unit(21). The contact protruded unit drastically increases the contact pressure about the sliding contact unit. The contact protruded unit protrudes due to sliding at connector fitting direction and the top unit of the sliding contact unit. A foreign substance is removed by the sliding contact of the top unit and the contact protruded unit in case the foreign substance exists between a terminal(20) and the other terminal(50).
