PURPOSE: A lamp, a manufacturing method thereof, and a liquid crystal display thereof are provided to reduce the temperature of a lamp electrode and the efficiency of a lamp by including a metal which has superior electron discharge efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A tube(310) forms a light emitting space. An electrode main body(330a,330b) is arranged inside the tube. An emitter surface metal layer(340a,340b) comprises the alkali metal oxide or the alkali earth metal oxide, and cover the electrode body.
